CHRIS DONHAM
ARTIST BIO
Christopher Donham is a native Californian. He was born and raised Sacramento and currently lives in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. Chris received his B.F.A. from the University of Southern California in 2003 and is currently working as a professional graphic designer; although graphic design is just one of the many aspects of his creative world. Whether designing, painting, performing, learning or teaching, Chris always takes into consideration the logistical as well as the conceptual throughout the creative process. As a major supporter of the downtown Los Angeles art-scene, Chris has played a key role in the marketing, branding, design, function, and creative atmosphere of several fine art institutions in Gallery Row including, The Hive Gallery and Hanger 1018. If Chris were a demigod, the art world would be flourishing in a neo-renissance sort of way, and all artists would make enough money to support their artistic endeavors. Until that time, Chris plays the role of the lonely sadomasochistic artist who is in-love with the visceral and the grotesque.
